Keylogger

Keylogger, also commonly known as a keystroke logging software is a spyware that is often used with the malicious intent of recording keystrokes by the user. Mainly used by the hackers, keyloggers allow them to access and record sensitive information of the user.

This information includes bank details, private keys, account passwords, and more. For the majority of the time, keyloggers are used for personal gains only. There are three major types of keyloggers readily available on the market including hidden cameras, USB loaded, and keyboard keyloggers.

Apart from being used by criminals and government organizations, keyloggers have grown to create their own commercial market. Even an average individual can also possess their own keylogger. For the most part, it is commonly used by parents to monitor their children’s activities.
