The BEP-721 is a modification to the original ERC-721 token from Ethereum, which is widely used as an NFT standard. The Ethereum network was the very first to create a Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) standard.

Basically, the ERP-721 token signifies ownership of NFTs, be it collectibles such as artworks or virtual real estate. Each token holds its own distinctive value. The BEP-721 standard works in a similar manner by assigning a unique ID with the token.

Using the ‘tokenMetadata’ feature, each token can be equipped with metadata that is linked to artwork or any other collectible. The NFT can be further traded and transferred for ownership based on its current market value.
